Diana Hurlburt, President

Diana has worked with the Puerto Rican Committee of Lancaster for eight years and serves as Secretary. She is responsible for getting sponsorships for the Puerto Rican festival,  the annual parade, and other events. Diana also coordinates the annual Puerto Rican parade.  She enjoys volunteering and meeting new people.

Rafael, better known as Rafy, has been with the Puerto Rican Committee of Lancaster for 20 years, is one of the founders and serves as the Vice President. Rafy was born and raised in Patillas, Puerto Rico and arrived in Lancaster when he was 18 years old. He worked at UGI for 36 years.  Rafy had two big dreams in life and they came true when his daughter, Morgan was born, and when the Puerto Rican Cultural Center was built. He worked very hard with the team to build the Center and now says that “dreams can come true!”

Rafy presently lives in Lancaster with his wife, his daughter, stepson Jordon, and his mother-in-law. He has three grown sons, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way! Rafy loves to listen to and dance Salsa!

Modesto (Moe) retired from the Lancaster City Police Dept. in 2007. During his career he worked as security Officer for the Committee during the Festival and Parade. During the construction of the Cultural Center Moe was the site Manager and after the completion of the project he was hired as Director of Operations. Mo has been active with the Puerto Rican Committee of Lancaster for twenty three (23) years!
